If you’re a Fender fan I’m sure you already know about the Fender Select series. The Select Series was introduced to the market earlier this year as its new top-of-the-production-line best.
Select instruments for select individuals.
The Fender Select series includes five guitars and two basses. This series includes Fender’s experience and expertise in building great quality instruments, including high-end features and elegant design options for discerning musicians everywhere.
Incredible tone woods, figured tops, strikingly beautiful finishes, figured and quartersawn maple necks with compound-radius fretboards, specially voiced Fender Select pickups that deliver masterful tone, and other first-rate features, the U.S.-made Select Series presents Fender’s finest selection.
Fender can’t fail…
The new Fender Select series represents the culmination of more than 60 years of fine Fender instrument-building craftsmanship. To commemorate the introduction of the series, 100 instruments of each model include a certificate of authenticity signed by Jeff Allen, head of U.S. production at Fender’s Corona, Calif., manufacturing facility. An additional 50 of the first Fender Select instruments made are hand-numbered on the back of the headstock and include a certificate.
Both distinctions make this already-unparalleled family of guitars and basses even more exclusive. And because these extraordinary first-run instruments will find their way to randomly determined Authorized Fender Dealer locations worldwide, the lucky players who discover them will become part of a very special Fender experience akin to finding the proverbial “golden ticket.”
